Fund Raising
We are pleased to announce a new fund raising effort under way to make improvements at Elkhorn Acres Golf Course.
Stanton Telecom, Inc. has pledged $5,000 per year for the next five years as "seed money" for a project, at the golf course each year and is asking all members to make donations if they can. The money donated will be used for a variety of projects including cart shed upgrades (possible new construction), an eye-appealing front gate/entrance to the golf course, improvements/alterations on the course itself, updated golf course maintenance equipment, and clubhouse improvments are a few of the ideas being discussed. If members and businesses can donate to this effort, significant improvements will be made to the course. The idea is to make needed improvements and upgrades to the course without raising membership dues.
A golf course improvement committee has been established to oversee the improvements. Committee members include Judy Throener, Scott Molle, Jon Erickson, Morris Vogel, and Bob Paden. The committee will gladly entertain any ideas for course improvements. Furthermore, donations over $25.00 are 100% tax-deductible!
